How to switch off Aero in windows vista

Following is the procedure to disable Aero affects in Windows vista operating system.

• Click on Start button
  
• Select Control Panel
  
• Click on Personalization
  
• Select 'Windows color and Appearance'
  
• If Aero is enabled Windows Aero would be the active color scheme. Now to disable it select 'Windows Vista Basic'
