How to disable network in Windows Vista

Following is the procedure for disabling a network connection on a machine running Windows Vista operating system.

• Click on Start button
  
• Right click on Network
  
• Select on Properties
  
• Click on Manage network connections in the left side Tasks menu
  
• Right click on the network connection that needs to be disabled.
  
• Select Disable
